THEORY OF OPERATION

General
The Action Sensor® detects objects entering the "Active Region" and triggers devices such as cameras allowing unattended and remote photography for numerous applications. There are no adjustments or calibrations. It works reliably in sunlight, at night and under all extreme light and temperature conditions.

The principle of operation is simple. The Action-Sensor® will remain in a standby mode as long as no reflected light from the Signal Source enters the Signal Sensor. The Action Sensor® can trigger on reflected light of tiny or large objects up to about 300 feet from the Signal Source. The Action Sensor® can also operate in a "break the beam" mode where the Signal Source is directed into the Signal Sensor from as far as 2000 feet.

The rugged design, lifetime warranty and simple operation make the Action-Sensor® a versatile and reliable companion for any sports or nature photographer.
