THEORY OF OPERATION

General
The device detects action and triggers a camera allowing unattended and remote photography for numerous applications. The Action-Sensor® does not require any batteries or power for operation. There are no adjustments or calibrations. It works reliably in sunlight, at night and under all extreme light and temperature conditions.

The principle of operation is simple. The Action-Sensor® will remain in a standby mode as long as it is aimed at some black object (black felt). Any reflected light that enters the Action-Sensor®, will trigger it. The Action-Sensor® can also be used in the opposite manner (Active Mode) where it will remain in standby as long as a light is shining into the Action-Sensor® (flashlight is adequate). Breaking the beam of light in the Active Mode will trigger the device. Two AA batteries are required in the Active Mode operation.

The rugged design, lifetime warranty and simple operation make the Action-Sensor® a versatile and reliable companion for any sports or nature photographer.
